Are you passionate about working with innovative, nationally recognized brands that don’t have a traditional storefront? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments, driven by the challenge of driving new business while building and developing exceptional teams? Yelp’s mission is to connect people with great businesses, and our Brand team partners with leading brands to deliver cutting-edge digital advertising solutions—powered by the Yelp Audience product—to create meaningful growth and results.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Vice President, Brand Sales to lead our non-brick and mortar segment. This leader will directly manage a team of Regional Directors, championing a hunter mentality across the team with a focus on acquiring new business and scaling revenue with accounts that operate beyond the physical retail space. Your experience in coaching senior sales leaders, building world-class sales cultures, and driving growth in a dynamic environment will be critical. This is a pivotal leadership role with significant impact on Yelp’s continued success and offers major growth potential within the Brand team.

Yelp is where you can be part of an empowering mission and build a rewarding career that grows with you. Yelp is powered by a global community of collaborative people with shared values. We’re tenacious individuals who believe in our mission to connect people to great local businesses. Yelp is a remote workplace where your work makes a difference, where you are seen as a whole person, and where you will grow with our support and guidance. If you’re looking for a career (not a job) with a company that is invested in you as a whole person, from personal development, compensation, training, and more, we know just the place.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and coach a high-performing team of 3-5 Regional Directors focused on all stages of the sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching top brands to closing new business and expanding long-term partnerships.
  • Foster a hunter mindset, driving aggressive new business development strategies highly aligned with non-brick and mortar business models.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of innovative, multi-tiered sales approaches, measurable success metrics, campaign strategies (including leveraging Yelp Audience), and effective attribution solutions.
  • Ensure teams consistently meet and exceed quarterly sales goals, holding Regional Directors accountable for pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and closing activity.
  • Partner cross-functionally to optimize sales strategies, increase productivity, and drive improvements in process and efficiency.
  • Provide regular and transparent updates to executive leadership on team performance, pipeline developments, opportunities, and risks.
  • Build and nurture executive-level client relationships to drive strategic sales activities and close complex, high-value opportunities.
  • Support the ongoing growth and career development of your direct reports, fostering a collaborative, authentic, and high-performing culture.
  • Travel up to 50% as needed to support team and client needs.
  • #LI-REMOTE #LI-TU1

What it takes to succeed:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital advertising, brand sales, or a related role with at least 3 years in a senior sales leadership position.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding multi-million dollar sales targets, particularly with non-brick and mortar or digitally native brands.
  • Experience leading and developing senior sales managers or Regional Directors.
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality focused on new business acquisition and building long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Highly skilled in executive communication, negotiation, and building C-level relationships with national brands.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable launching and scaling innovative solutions in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to effectively oversee strategic planning, sales forecasting, and process optimization.
  • Experience with advertising solutions and campaign attribution; knowledge of digital media trends and metrics.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for team and client meetings.

What you'll get:

  • The base salary for this role is $200K annually. You may also be offered equity.
  • This role is also eligible to earn uncapped quarterly incentive compensation (sales commissions).
  • Target annual compensation for this role is $400K, which includes base salary and quarterly incentive compensation assuming minimum performance expectations are met.

  • Mental health support and services via Modern Health
  • 15 days PTO (accrual begins on date of hire and increases with 2+ years of tenure thereafter), 12 paid holidays, plus one floating holiday and 7 paid wellness days
